How it works

Their class, the subject and what they're finding hard. It takes about two minutes.
We find a tutor
Someone who teaches that subject at your child's level, at times that work for your family.
Lessons happen at home
45 minutes on a video call. Afterwards the tutor writes down what they covered and what to practise.

What you can expect from us
No running around
Lessons happen at home on a phone, tablet or laptop. No lifts to arrange, no waiting outside a classroom.
Tutors we've met
We check ID and qualifications and talk with every tutor before they teach. Nobody is listed just because they signed up.
Times around school
After school, evenings or Saturdays. You pick from the times the tutor actually has free.
You always know what happened
After every lesson the tutor writes a few lines: what they covered, how it went and what to practise.
How we keep lessons safe
Who are the tutors?
Before a tutor appears on this site, we check their ID and qualifications and talk with them about how they teach. They also sign our safeguarding rules.
What does a lesson look like?
A video call, usually Google Meet or Zoom. The link shows up in your parent dashboard 15 minutes before the start. Your child needs a quiet spot, their exercise book and a working connection.
How do I stay involved?
The account is yours, not your child's. You book, pay, cancel and read every tutor note from your dashboard.
Can the tutor contact my child?
Not through us, and tutors agree not to contact children privately. There's no messaging between tutors and children on this site, and we only ask for your child's first name and class. Read our safeguarding rules.
