How it works

1. Tell us what your child needs

   Answer a few quick questions: class, subject, what they find hard, and when they are free. We only ask for your child's first name.

2. We suggest a tutor

   If a tutor who fits is already free, you can pick them straight away. If not, we find one for you and reply within 2 working days.

3. Choose lessons and pay

   Pick a single lesson or a package. We send bank or mobile money details. Your lessons are confirmed once payment arrives.

4. Your child learns online

   Lessons are 45 minutes on a video call. The link appears in your dashboard before each lesson. Please stay nearby, especially the first time.

5. Read the tutor's notes

   After each lesson the tutor marks attendance and writes what they covered and what to practise. You read it in your dashboard and by email.

6. Book again when you're ready

   Choose your next time from the tutor's open slots in your dashboard. No contract, no automatic charges.

What your child needs

• A device

  A laptop, tablet or smartphone with a camera and microphone. A laptop or tablet is easiest for writing work.

• Internet

  A steady Wi-Fi or mobile data connection. A 45-minute video lesson can use a few hundred MB of data.

• Books and a quiet spot

  Their school exercise book, textbook and a pen, somewhere calm in the house where you can check in.
