This page describes how Training With Totz works today. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
This agreement is between you (the tutor) and Training With Totz. By applying, you agree to it.
1. How it works
- We find learners, handle bookings and collect payment from parents. You teach the lessons we book.
- You are an independent tutor, not an employee. You are responsible for your own tax.
- Your profile is only public after we have checked your ID and qualifications and talked with you.
2. Pay
- You earn the share of each lesson price shown in your dashboard (currently set by Training With Totz in its settings). The share and the lesson prices can change; changes don’t affect lessons already taught.
- A lesson counts once you mark it in your dashboard. If you were ready and the learner did not join, mark it as “did not attend” and it still counts.
- We pay what is owed once a month by bank transfer or mobile money.
3. Lessons
- Keep your open times up to date. Parents can book them.
- Be on time, with a working classroom link, camera and microphone.
- Write short notes after every lesson within 24 hours.
- If you can’t make a lesson, tell us as early as possible so we can let the family know.
4. Safeguarding and conduct
You agree to follow every rule on our safety and safeguarding page. In particular: no private contact with learners or families outside Training With Totz, no in-person meetings, no recordings or photos of children. Breaking these rules ends this agreement immediately.
5. Families you meet through us
While you tutor with us and for 12 months after, you agree not to offer private lessons to families you met through Training With Totz outside the platform.
6. Privacy
Learners’ details are only for teaching your lessons. Don’t keep, share or post them anywhere.
7. Ending
Either side can end this agreement with 14 days’ notice by email. We pay all lessons taught up to the end.
